Position: Director of Program Impact – Curriculum Specialist

Hours of Employment: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Monday-Thursday; 

7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Fridays (non-school days)

(Occasional weekday evenings and weekends will be required)

Work Location: In-Person

Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000, based on experience and qualifications

Immediate Supervisor: Executive Program Director

Employment Type: Full-time | Exempt

Position Overview: NCCP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced team member who will enhance the development and implementation of extended learning programs. They will be responsible for guiding the strategic enrichment planning that complements the facilitation team and meets the needs of the students. They will play a pivotal role in guiding curriculum development, coordinating programmatic partners, and serving as an instructional coach to the facilitation team.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee instructional programs that align with curriculum standards and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing professional development to facilitation staff to enhance their effectiveness.
  • Manage the Senior Manager of Curriculum and Instruction providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality program and event delivery.
  • Develop and lead professional development trainings and workshops.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure curriculum content and materials are up-to-date and aligned with current pedagogical approaches.  
  • Lead the development and execution of impactful programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing student social, emotional, and academic outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and standards in organization and program implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish program objectives, goals, and metrics to measure impact.
  • Develop data collection tools and actively monitor program effectiveness through data analysis. Use information gathered to make recommendations for program modifications as needed.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including students, families, staff, and external partners.
  • Conduct regular surveys and assessments to gather feedback from stakeholders and use the information to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in program development.
  • Support in-school, after-hours and extended day community school activities as requested.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, curriculum design, or a related field 
  • Maximum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development and implementation
  • Extensive knowledge of academic standards and best practices in curriculum design that is culturally sensitive and impact-driven
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail, ability to multitask

Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Previous experience in classroom management and demonstrated instructional expertise 
  • Previous experience coordinating large-scale events

  • Work in collaboration with the broader organization to facilitate school, community, and volunteer programs and events (NOTE: Must be able to remain in a stationary or mobile position, as the shift demands, and move equipment/supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.)
