Position: Resource Manager

Hours of Employment: Will vary by employee (Some weekday evenings and weekends will be required)
Immediate Supervisor: Director of Community School Initiatives   

Employment Type: Full-time, Exempt

Position Overview: Responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating all initiatives guided by the company’s mission and framework in the Community School Model. Directly manage resources of student-based programs and initiatives that care for students, families, and district staff. Serve as part of the external engagement team leading and/or supporting partner, school and community events. 

 Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage general community school initiatives within the district
  • Help identify and prioritize needs with the school community
  • Facilitate implementation of care initiatives for students, families and district staff 
  • Facilitate implementation of non-NCCP projects and events (district or partner initiated)

  • Actively develop and maintain partnerships and relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and organizations including principal, school staff and teachers, parents, community school partners, volunteers and other community-based organizations
  • Collect, store, and analyze accurate data
  • Work with the Program and Outreach Leadership Teams to recruit, greet, orient, train, deploy, observe and/or steward programmatic partners and individual volunteers
  • Plan and implement family engagement events, district events, and strategic events
  • Attend and participate in principal, school staff, grade level, PTO, Community School Advisory Committee and quarterly partner meetings as directed
  • Support all in-school, after hours and extended day community school activities as needed
  • Develop and lead trainings as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent computer and administrative skills; proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate with different stakeholders (partners, donors, school staff, families, colleagues)
  • Strong teamwork and leadership skills
  • Ability to think critically, creatively and strategically to promote quality programming and growth
  • Moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary or mobile position, as the shift demands 

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Two-year or four-year college degree 
  • Bilingual Spanish/English skills 
  • Previous experience in program, project or event planning, implementation, evaluation (4+ years)
  • Previous people and project management experience (2+ years)
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate large-scale programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills
